Here at CragRats Café Bar we are on a mission to bring you the best seasonal, locally sourced and organic food we can find.

We love our local suppliers and believe heartily in supporting them. From award winning Crawshaw’s sausages to Longley Farm ice cream our menu is a blend of the best Yorkshire has to offer.

It is also good to know that the food you eat here at CragRats hasn’t travelled halfway round the world before arriving on your plate.

So, all in all, you could say there’s a little bit of Yorkshire in every dish we create!

Yorkshire beef, lamb and chicken
We are dedicated to supporting Yorkshire farmers and source our meat from farms in the lush West Pennine Region, just 10 miles from the Café Bar.

CragRats burgers
The CragRats burger is a firm favourite with the regulars here at the Café Bar - no wonder really as it is made from prime beef mince.

Crawshaw’s award winning sausages
Sausage aficionados are well served at CragRats - all our bangers come from Crawshaws butchers in Sheffield, winners of the Great Yorkshire Sausage championships! Not only do they taste amazing but all the meat used is sourced from local farms that rear their animals outdoors.

Sustainably farmed fish
We source all our fish from the Huddersfield based supplier Sailbrand. We only buy fish that comes from the UK (when in season) and is farmed or sourced sustainably wherever possible.

Our vegetables and fruit
Our fruit is sourced from CragRats long standing supplier Andrews the Greengrocer, Holmfirth. We work with our suppliers to bring you the finest seasonal fruit and vegetables that are locally grown and organic wherever possible.

Longley Farm ice creams
Less than a mile up the road, Longley Farm supplies us with all our mouth watering ice creams. This local farm has been creating award winning dairy products for more than half a century.
